"There are no "bad" dogs, only miscommunication."

Licensed American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

Established in 1996 and originally located in College Station, TX, Mach One has made tracks more than once. Co-owner Jason Lozano is a pilot for the U.S. Air Force, making Mach One and it’s interests mobile. Now situated in the small borough of Stratford, NJ, Mach One has planted its paws for a well-deserved stay.
Here at Mach One our goal has always been to find the best line of communication between you and your dog. Without this communication, the training processes becomes regression rather than progression. We tailor our training style for each dog and its owner, understanding that each of us and our companions are unique and don’t all learn in the same manner.
The most important thing to remember about our closest companions is their closest evolutionary link. Canine (dog) comes from Lupine (wolf). No matter how much we domesticate our dogs, you can not take the lupine heritage out of them. Understanding how their ancestors communicated gives us the most direct path for our own communication with them. Put simply, it is no more probable for a dog to understand the thoughts and methods of a human family than it is for a human to understand the thoughts and methods of a wolf pack.
All of our training is done in our home in real life, day to day situations. No dog is ever kenneled outside or left alone while in our care. We stress and emphasize the AKC Canine Good Citizen program, and every dog that comes through our training program will be eligible to receive this prestigious honor.

I have been training dogs for the past seven years. I was very lucky to have been able to apprentice under master trainer and former U.S. Marine Rory Hippsman. I have trained in and gone to trial in the fields of obedience, retrieving, shutzhund, agility, conformation and behavior modification. I hunt, show and breed Jack Russell Terriers.
I have trained dogs for many competitions including conformation at Westminster and the JRTCA National; obedience and agility for AKC and JRTCA trials. My own dogs hold agility and obedience titles as well as Natural Hunting Certificates.
