Here at Mach One we employ a strict discipline that allows our terriers to be suitable to many a home and many a purpose. Hunting drive, correct conformation and soundness of temperament are at the forefront of our breeding program. This discipline has merited our terriers many championships in conformation, racing, go-to-ground, agility, obedience and Natural Hunting Certificates to name a few. All breeding stock is BAER normal and CERF tested yearly.

Mach One Kennel is owned and operated by Lynne and Jason Lozano. Established in 1996 and originally located in College Station, TX, Mach One has made tracks more than once. Now situated in the small borough of Stratford, NJ, Mach One has planted its paws for a well-deserved stay. We enjoy meeting other Jack Russell owners and welcome calls and inquiries of any kind, please feel free to stop by our tent at any of the shows to talk terrier. It is our goal to work these dogs as God and nature intended and we are very proud of our terrier’s achievements. We travel all over the United States showing and hunting our dogs and encourage all of our puppy buyers to do the same as it is imperative that we preserve this amazing terriers for generations to come. We got into the Jack Russell’s because of our Chow Chow “Charmin”. Charmin is 9 years old now and about 5 years ago we found out that she had glaucoma, a hereditary disease somewhat prominent in Chows and that she would eventually go completely blind. Having been a trainer of many years and because of my line of work Charmin had never hurt for playmates or canine companionship, however when we learned of her condition the suggestion was made to get another dog to help her get around the house. I was training 2 JRs at the time and of all the dogs I had ever trained or boarded these were the only two she would seek out to play with, she was in love with “Max” and “Rusty”. So after looking at several breeds it was Charmin who made the decision about what breed of dog to add to the family. Well, that did it for us, for those of you who own Jacks you understand, they are addictive you can’t have just one. They are truly one of the most remarkable breeds I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Our terriers have taught and continue to teach us many things, they have opened our eyes and our hearts to a very rewarding journey and we feel truly blessed to have them to lead the way.

All of our Terriers are raised in the house with not only us but with the entire terrier pack and various other dogs that are present for training or boarding. This bombardment of socialization and constant stimulation make our terrier’s one of the soundness in temperament out there. All of our dogs live in the house happily together. Yes, even our males live in harmony together, we will tolerate no less. Our puppies get a first rate education from us and their canine counterparts, it’s this education that makes them working, productive members of a pack, whether that pack is ours or someone else’s. Great care and discipline must be in place when mixes then tenacious little dogs and not everyone is cut out to handle the curves they can throw you on a daily basis. That is why it is so important to educate new owners about the family member they take on when they invite a terrier into their home. It is our wish that each and every terrier that starts its life with us will find a home and mission in whatever family they become a part of.
